About

The Capitol Hill Neighborhood Council serves a diverse community located around the Utah State Capitol Building in Salt Lake City.

We envision a Capitol Hill where all people feel a sense of value and belonging and are empowered to contribute to the civic life and well-being of the community. Our mission is to strengthen the community by educating, engaging, and uniting residents through inclusive dialogue and programs that improve the quality of life in the neighborhood and in the broader community.

Our monthly meetings are open to all and are designed to give local residents the opportunity to hear from, speak to, and ask questions of public officials, including the Police and Fire Departments, the Mayor’s office, our representatives on the City Council and Salt Lake City Board of Education, and our State Legislators. We are organized and run entirely by volunteers, so your involvement is critical.
