The Salt Lake City Council is reviewing the Mayor’s Recommended Fiscal Year 2025-26 (FY26) Budget. The budget is the Council’s strongest policy-making tool, providing funding for essential City services and projects. The Council will meet weekly in May and June to discuss, review, and fine-tune the proposed budget based on its priorities and public input.
This year, constituents can share their budget priorities by taking a short survey at tinyurl.com/FY26Survey. Additionally, community members can provide input on the budget directly to the Council at public hearings on May 20 and June 3 at 7 p.m. Input may also be shared anytime online, by email at council.comments@slc.gov, or by phone at 801-535-7654.
