The Salt Lake City Council is considering a proposal to consolidate up to 27 existing commercial, form-based, and mixed-use zoning districts into six new mixed-use (MU) districts. The proposal seeks to simplify zoning regulations, promote good design, and streamline land use processes.
On Tuesday, April 8, the Council will have a follow-up briefing on the proposed consolidation of commercial and mixed-use zoning districts. At its May 6, 7 p.m. formal meeting, the Council will hold a public hearing to gather feedback on the proposal.
